Londra- Claudio Ranieri today is a living legend: the Italian coach who managed to bring Leicester City FC from a narrowly avoided relegation the previous season, to a sensational Premier League Championship this year.

John Foot is Professor of Modern Italian History in the Department of Italian, University of Bristol. Currently working on history of radical psychiatry in Italy, he has written extensively on many aspects of Italian history, including the book Calcio – a History of Italian Football(Harpers, 2006).
