Aeroporti di Londra – London airports: Heathrow Gatwick Stansted London City Airport London Southend Airport

Londra -Londra è una megalopoli e dispone di 6 aeroporti, tutti ben collegati con il centro città.

Heathrow è l’aeroporto principale ed il piú grande della città, dista 24 Km dal centro. Qui atterrano sopratutto i voli di linea delle compagnie nazionali piú famose. Dall´aeroporto si può prendere ogni 15 minuti l´Heathrow Express, un treno veloce che arriva fino alla stazione di Paddington.
In alternativa si puó prendere la Piccadilly Line della metropolitana che porta in centro in 50 minuti.

Gatwick dista 45 km dalla città vi atterrano anche gli aerei dell’Alitalia e della British Airways.
Tra l’aeroporto e la Victoria Station é in funzione il Gatwick Express che impiega 30 minuti.

Stansted é l’aeroporto di Londra, ci atterra Ryanair e tante altre compagnie “Low Cost”.
Dista 64 Km dal centro e per i collegamenti con la città c’è lo Stansted Express che arriva in 47 minuti a Liverpool Street.

London City Airport si trova nell’area delle Docklands, vicino alla City e ovviamente é dedicato prevalentemente all’utenza d’affari.

London Southend Airport è situato nel sud-est dell’Inghilterra raggiungibile con un comodo treno che si ferma alla stazione di Liverpool street, nel cuore della City, in 52 minuti.

Luton è situato a circa 58 km nord-est della capitale inglese
