London - Connect Foundation is a global network with the mission to sustain the development of talents with the ambition to become leaders. connect foundation is the evolution of the group connect club of talents founded by Fabrizio Nicolosi and a team of young graduates at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

The group started its activities since 2010 and has created over 100 events in Europe, United States and United Arab Emirates. Connect Foundation collaborate with market leading companies for international projects. Since September 2013, the team operates under the name of connect foundation.

Some questions to Fabrizio Nicolosi.

When was connect club of talents born?
Connect club of talents – a no profit organization – was set up in Milan in 2010 by a team of young graduates of Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, inspired by the basic idea of connecting the best university graduates.
The experiment of connect club of talents achieved success soon thanks to the participation of a plenty of young talents which tooked part in our events, usually hosted in the best 5-stars venues in Milan.
The positive outcome immediately persuaded the team to launch a programme of international activities which allow networking and learning at the same time. A continuous learning programme achieved through a direct interaction with leaders, managers and entrepreneurs who are glad to take part at our events.

How does connect club of talents operate?
We operate like a connector among young talents and existing leaders of a wide variety of sectors. Then we offer to young professionals the chance of starting a talent development programme based on a steady participation at our initiatives. connect club of talents wants to boost soft skill improvement of young talents, working on three different areas: network, experience and project.
The organization operates only in a no profit way. It is subsidized by voluntary donations, given by their supporters members.

Which were main initiatives promoted in the past?
There were plenty of events, that gave evidence of the commitment of connect club of talents, such as international weekends in Barcelona, Malta, London and all those opportunities guaranteed to young talents and professionals (with a brilliant academic career) to meet companies, or to share ideas with leading civil servants. Last September, there was an event in Milan focused on the opportunities for young talents to start an international career or to develop a start-up in the United States. In April 2013, there was a big event organized in London, done in collaboration with Alumni Bocconi London, aimed at exploring today’s job market with leading multinationals and head hunting companies. An other interesting event was the coffee break held in Milan in November 2012 with prof. on. Giulio Tremonti, talking about the way to promote young talents in a global world. And which are next steps?
We have started a strong international growth programme since September 2013, which will be charactherized by a rebranding process, shortly connect club of talents has become connect foundation – a world of talents.
We want to grow internationally involving an higher number of talents. Referencies city will remain in Italy: Rome, Genoa, Milan and Bari, and, abroad London, Barcelona and Malta.
We would like to activate new chapters in the USA and the UAE.
Furthermore, it is one of our goal to strengthen relationships with leading multinationals on the back of a stronger support for the development of young talent potential, future leaders.
